Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary School Caretaker/Cleaner to join our team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at our site in Shaw/Oldham (OL2) area

The role involves commercial cleaning duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

**Permanent position, paid on a monthly basis**

**Duties**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitise washrooms and communal areas
- Opening and closing the school (Security)
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to meet quality standards
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while carrying out cleaning tasks
- COSHH/Risk assessment's
- Overseeing the cleaners
- Overseeing contractors in holidays

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is essential, specifically within an Educational setting
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
- Possess a clean, valid Enhanced DBS dated within the last three years

Daily shifts: Monday - Friday 6am - 9.30am then 2.10pm - 6pm (split shift so need to live local) Friday 2pm - 6pm

This is a 52 week position less holidays that can only be taken in school holidays times

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.50 per hour
