James Chase is currently looking for a QA Automation Tech Lead to work for a FinTech Rocketship that has recently landed in London
You will raise the bar for test automation effort across brand-new products. As an expert in QA automation, you will provide expertise, support and leadership to a number of cross-functional teams.
- Please note this is a hybrid role, with your time split equally between the office in London and home/remote._
Responsible for:

- Provide high level test expertise to the directors of product and engineering when planning the roadmap for the London teams.
- Assisting the QA Engineers in various teams when they tackle new or complex features.
- Reviewing testing scenarios for major epics, thinking through potential impacts and future scalability problems.
- Coaching and mentoring the QA engineers in each of the London teams.
- Experimenting and recommending new QA technologies and practices.
- Optimizing and enhancing current work processes as well as introducing new ones where needed to ensure the QA function is constantly improving.

About you:

- You are passionate about technology, love problem solving, live and breathe testing and obsess about quality
- In depth expertise in using Javascript for creating automation testing and Selenium
- You have a broad technology toolbox when it comes to testing and are always looking at how new technologies can help build the perfect products
- You have an extensive background as a web-oriented QA automation engineer
