Join a high-end Investment Management firm based in Holborn. As the Paralegal, you will assist the legal counsel in reviewing, completing and updating fund documentation. This is an opportunity to join a successful and well regarded legal team.

**Key Paralegal Responsibilities**:

- Assist with fund filings and fund registrations (in particular UCITS IV SICAV funds) in certain jurisdictions as required for distribution purposes, working with local service providers and counsel and maintaining such registrations on an ongoing basis,and undertaking all ancillary tasks related thereto including overseeing providing updates to distributors on an ongoing basis regarding changes in fund registrations
- All KIID documentation (including amendments and sign offs) as required from a legal perspective liaising with other business units, counsel and service providers
- Assist legal counsel in all aspects of launching open and closed ended funds and segregated accounts including liaising with external counsel and service providers, associated documentation, and working with various business units as required
- Review of confidentiality agreements, engagement letters and all ancillary contracts in accordance with company templates
- Review of rebate and distribution agreements and uploading of information to Quartal system
- Assist with master NDF confirmation agreements, ISDAs and other trading documents
- Act as primary point person for KYC and other required forms in relation to derivatives and other trading
- Ensuring all filing systems and spreadsheets and trading databases for counterparties are up to date and accurate
- Assist legal counsel on other fund related distribution and servicing agreements
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation of fund board meeting materials
- Maintain various spreadsheets and structure charts on funds and derivatives and generate various summaries and reports of legal document review and status of work flow
- Assist with other legal initiatives and business requirements as requested

**Key Competencies for the Paralegal role**:

- Previous experience as a Paralegal, preferably in a legal paralegal role for a law office and an investment management firm, or other financial services industry setting
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and other components of Microsoft Office
- Strong interest in the investment management and mutual fund industry
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple ongoing projects with varying deadlines
- Excellent communication, writing, and proofreading skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and executing responsibilities effectively and efficiently
