We are looking to build the capability of our support teams and are seeking a fully qualified Deputy Head of Finance. The main purpose of this role is to contribute to the overall success of Castlefield by ensuring its ongoing viability and securing its financial future. You will also line manage the team and deputise for the Head of Finance.
THE ROLE
Team: Finance
Reports to: Head of Finance
Location: Manchester, with remote / hybrid working available
Hours: Full time (37.25 pw)
Planned start date: as soon as possible
**Salary**: £45,000 - £48,000 base salary + £5,000 for relevant “chartered” qualification
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee and contribute to the preparation of relevant, accurate and timely, monthly management accounts for individual companies (3 regulated, 1 parent) and the consolidated group
- Ensure all reporting requirements are met, whether statutory or regulatory:
- Review and upload regulatory returns to the FCA’s RegData system
- Review and submit FCA and ONS surveys or other ad-hoc requests
- Review and submission of (partially exempt) VAT returns
- Oversight of and assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and HY reforecasts, including cash flows and FCA requirement considerations
- Scenario modelling for the preparation of the ICARA and liquidity risk management frameworks
- Point of contact for the Group’s auditors, insurance brokers, etc
- Other ad-hoc projects which may arise as directed by the Head of Finance or Managing Partner
- Line manage the team on a day to day basis
