Our client has openings for a Kitchen Assistant in **Leiston, IP16 **for a care home**.** Looking for applicants with prior experience in Healthcare Sector.
**Job Details as Kitchen Assistant**:

- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Leiston, IP16
- Salary: up to 10.00 pounds per hour
- Benefits: Competitive rates of pay, Excellent working environment, Assistance with Enhanced DBS.
- Shifts: 8 am - 6 pm or 8 am - 2 pm again over a 7 day rota.

**Responsibilities as **Kitchen Assistant**:
*
- Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
- Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
- Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
- Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
- Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
- Observing cooking times and correct temperatures

**Requirements as **Kitchen Assistant**:

- Prior experience as Kitchen Assistant
- Be looking for a long-term career within care with a desire to expand your knowledge and experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.00 per hour
