**The Role**
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Kitchen Assistant. We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic, committed and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our first-class catering team in Great Baddow. As our Kitchen Assistant, you will be essential for the overall efficiency and standards of our back of house function committed to providing a fine dining experience to our residents.

**Location**: Great Baddow, Chelmsford

**Salary**: £10.90

**Working hours**: Part time, 20 hours (available over 7 days), Permanent, includes alternate weekends

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing an efficient and effective restaurant service that fully meets the needs of our residents, along with the high standards expected within the Home.
- Assisting with fresh food items, plating and delivering to our residents during food service times.
- Ensuring all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately and that overall cleanliness of the kitchen is maintained at all times.
- Ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times

**What you will need to succeed**
- Previous catering or hospitality experience - desirable
- Be able to comfortably work as part of a team.
- Have the ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality of output.
- Have a keen eye for detail.
- Be flexible (available over 7 days).
