**Who are we?**

National Merchandise offers a wide range of services including; Merchandise Development, Venue Merchandise Sales Management and Live Event Merchandise Sales.

We manage the venue merchandising teams for the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, Utilita Arena Birmingham, Resorts World Arena Birmingham, utilita Arena Sheffield, O2 London, Glasgow SSE Hydro Arena and Liverpool's Echo Arena; In addition, we manage merchandise concessions for both one-off and multi-date festivals/events and merchandise sales at live events across live venues around the UK.

A typical day in the life of event merchandising would see you count in a quantity of merchandise from our clients and partners visiting our venues, assist creating superb visual displays for customers and upon doors opening sell the stock at set prices to the general public, counting back and boxing the stock to clients for them to continue onwards with the tour, and making our stations ready for our next event.

No event is too large or too small for National Merchandise We cover all level of events from a small programme sporting event to a large stadium concert merchandise event.

**What are we looking for?**

National Merchandise has expanded and now includes venue merchandising for the Resorts World and Utilita arenas, part of the NEC Group in Birmingham. As part of this venture, we are looking for Retail Merchandise Assistants to join the team in September, ready for the busy season ahead.

Working with the Merchandise Managers you will provide a top-quality Customer Service at our indoor and outdoor events.

Responsible for ensuring that our merchandise is displayed to attract maximum sales you will also be comfortable with handling cash and card transactions.

With previous experience of working within customer service or retail, you will have the ability to calculate totals using mental math’s. You will be great at working under pressure with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Working on a casual, zero hours basis, you will be flexible to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays when necessary at both Utilita Arena Birmingham & Resorts World Arena - typical shift hours for pre door staff are approximately 17:00pm-00:30am, and for early shifts Approximately 12:30pm-00:30am with some events finishing earlier or later than others & Parking is available at both venues and are expected to be able to work in both venues

National minimum wage + £1 + 12.07% holiday pay.
