**Job Title**: Lead Administrator
**Salary**: circa £27,000 - £28,000 pro rata neg. DOE
**Hours**:Full time 40 per week
**Location**:Penryn, Cornwall

**Key responsibilities**:
Ensuring the smooth running and co-ordination between the landscaping & design, maintenance and business operations within the company.
Providing excellent and responsive customer service.
Enthusiastic with the ability to promote a positive culture both externally and within the business.
Proactive and flexible with strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
The ability to problem solve and suggest improvements to working processes is a key part of this role and always encouraged within the business.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Clients
- As part of the office team, be the first point of contact for our clients, supporting their queries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
Staff
- Work effectively as part of a team and in conjunction with the customer services and business operations administrator and ad-hoc office assistants
- Facilitate cohesive communication of the departments within the business
General
- Scheduling - Ability to manage complex schedules and multiple calendars, confidently make changes in reaction to staffing changes and business requirements.
- HR - provide administrative support to managers, directors and external HR provider by compiling paperwork, arranging meetings and coordinating staff.
- Recruitment - posting job adverts, on-boarding new staff, checking licenses and tickets. Processing paperwork for staff leavers.
- Health and Safety - facilitate the necessary audits for health and safety legal and best HSE practice requirements.
- Inventories - update and maintain current inventories maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Vehicle fleet - booking in vans for necessary works, MOTs and servicing.
- Purchasing - purchase tools, materials, PPE and office supplies as required.
- Using Free Agent to invoice clients and assist with monitoring aged debtors.
- Creating and/or updating policies, processes and procedures in line with business and legal requirements.
- Managing social media posts, processing photos from clients, and updating website.
- Ensure staff training matrix is up to date and arranging training as required.
- Undertake any other project work as required.
**Qualifications**: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Google calendar. Minimum BTEC level 2 in Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
**Additional requirements**: Knowledge and experience of Human Resources (HR) and Health and Safety (HSE) advantageous. Accounting knowledge advantageous.
**Key Competencies**:
- Proven experience in similar administrative roles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Able to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computerised systems including MSOffice Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
