**Job Overview**

This role requires repetitive lifting of bags books and other recycling materials of not more than 12 kg per bag, box or tub

this is a very physical job role.

**Duties**
- Operate a van to transport goods to various locations safely and efficiently.
- Manage the loading and unloading of products in the warehouse, ensuring that items are stored correctly.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
- weighing materials muxt be accurate and done efficientley
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding collection schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the vehicle and warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety regulations while driving and working in the warehouse environment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
- A valid commercial driving licence is required for operating larger vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with colleagues and customers effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 42 per week

Additional pay:

- Yearly bonus

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
