Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting this leading Top 20 firm of accountants with the appointment of a highly skilled and experienced Mixed Tax professional into a Senior or supervisory role to be situated at their superb offices in the heart of Letchworth Garden City.

Whilst the role will provide mixed tax exposure there will be a strong focus on Corporation Tax with responsibility for providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to clients, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. As a senior member of our tax team, you will have the opportunity to lead and supervise a team of tax professionals, fostering their development and supporting their success.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including corporations and high-net-worth individuals, providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of tax compliance and planning.
Prepare and review complex Corporation Tax computations, returns, and associated documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Conduct detailed tax research and analysis to support client-specific projects and assignments.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive tax advice and addressing client queries in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations, and effectively communicate their impact to clients and internal stakeholders.
Supervise and mentor junior tax professionals, providing guidance and support in their career development.
Collaborate with other departments within the firm to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver integrated solutions to clients.

**Person Requirements**:
Ideally, ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified, with a strong background in mixed tax, with a stronger focus towards Corporation Tax.
Proven experience in a similar role within an accounting or professional services firm, demonstrating technical competence and sound understanding of UK tax legislation.
Excellent knowledge of Corporation Tax compliance and planning, including experience with complex tax computations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative tax solutions.
Effective communication and client relationship management abilities, with the capacity to explain complex tax concepts to non-specialists.
Supervisory or team management experience is desirable but not essential.
Familiarity with tax software and digital accounting platforms (e.g., CCH, Sage, or Xero) is advantageous.

**Salary and Benefits**:
The firm are offering a competitive salary range of £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
