T-mex Limited, based in Chart Sutton, is a small and friendly family-run environmental and agricultural engineering business seeking a responsible and reliable warehouse operative.
The role will be varied and involve a wide range of tasks working both alone and as part of a team. The workload can be high and unpredictable, so a flexible attitude is key. This is a manual position that involves some reasonable lifting and repetitive work.
Responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing of orders
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Stock monitoring
- General warehouse duties
- A proactive and flexible attitude in line with the Company ethos
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A reasonable degree of fitness and range of mobility in line with the manual handling requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and multitask
- Prior warehouse experience and/or engineering knowledge would be advantageous_
This is a full-time position Monday-Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break and 2 x 15-minute paid breaks.
We offer a competitive salary ((£11.90 - £13.74 hourly rate) and a positive, supportive work environment. If you are self-motivated, looking for a hands-on role, and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Please note that the office is based in Chart Sutton with free on-site parking. The rural farm-based location is not readily accessible by public transport; the successful applicant will therefore require their own transport.
