An opportunity to work within a busy Teaching team supporting the school with a variety of tasks associated with the role of a Teaching Assistant. Full training and support will be given by the team at the school and ITEC your apprenticeship training provider.

**What will the apprentice be doing?**
- Assisting Teachers in preparing lesson materials & school equipment
- Setting the classroom ready for lessons & clearing away afterwards to maintain a safe & clean environment
- Recording & reporting pupils progress to the Teacher
- Helping pupils stay focused during class hours
- Supervising group activities & outings
- Helping Teachers manage pupils' behaviour
- Looking after children who are unwell or upset
- Providing a healthy & safe learning environment for all pupils.
- Work with individuals & small groups

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**

The Apprentice will gain the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship, all training will take place on site in the workplace.

- Financial processes such as accounting, payroll, & managing budgets

- Project management
- Factors that affect organisations, including political, economic, social
- IT packages
- Record & document production
- Interpersonal skills
- Coaching others

- Planning & organisation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £8,504.08 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- South Yorkshire, S65 4LZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
