Barista/waitress

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. **Duties**
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure all food items are prepared according to food safety standards and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including the kitchen and serving stations.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items.
- Demonstrate time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment that fosters teamwork and efficiency.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the café.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous.
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
- A background in culinary arts or related fields is beneficial for understanding menu items and preparation methods.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
