**Finance Director**
Coventry based, up to £65,000 per annum plus a benefits package within a rapidly expanding company

**Do you?**:

- A Degree and/or postgraduate qualification or similar
- Have strong technical skills in general accounting and tax
- Have experience of working with Finance systems
- Have the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Have a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and succeed
- Have excellent IT skills
**Are you?**:

- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with 2 years+ PQE
- Experience the Construction/Manufacturing sector - desirable but not essential
- Commercial awareness and have the ability to challenge financial performance
- A good negotiator with strong influencing skills - good knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
**The Role**
The Finance Director will ensure the business carries out its finance activities effectively in accordance with Group accounting Policies, Processes, and controls.
The Finance Director will work closely with the group finance team to ensure that month end accounts with supporting reconciliations and schedules are completed monthly.
The role will require working with the Finance and Leadership team in providing support to the Commercial departments to understand their business objectives and to provide robust management information which addresses risks, provides regular challenge, andfacilitates timely management against KPIs, such as working capital management and Business Unit performance against budget.
The Finance Director will be responsible for ensuring that the company acts in accordance with regulatory and legislative guidelines, including external reporting compliance for the company.
