Weston College is the regional provider for the Prison Education Framework (PEF) across the South West and South East of England and is now seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly motivated part time Lecturer in Art at HMP Downview.
This post is for 22.2 hours per week.
HMP Downview is a women’s closed prison based in Sutton, Surrey. HMP Downview deliver a wide variety of courses and qualifications to learners alongside Functional Skills English & Maths including Beauty, Hairdressing and Art.
The successful applicant will have experience in the Art sector and either be a qualified teacher or willing to work towards their teaching qualification. They will be enthusiastic and able to motivate a wide range of learners towards successful careers in the Art industry. An ability to work in partnership with others and excellent interpersonal skills are also required.
