The Affordable Group manufactures windows & doors and has been established for over 30 years and supplies the building trade throughout the UK. We have doubled our turnover over the last 5 years and now employ over 300 staff in Blackpool and Poulton-Le-Fylde alone.

We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality UPVC and aluminium products, committed to excellence and innovation. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Assistant/Content Creator to join our team and help us expand our brand presence.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong digital marketing skills to contribute to a fast-growing business.

The Affordable Group is a “John Lewis “ type of business where employees [ with 12 months of service ] receive a share in the profits. The profit share for 2023 & 2024 after deductions for every employee was £2000. We believe in promotion from within and almost all senior management started as junior employees.

As a Marketing Assistant/Content Creator, you will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies. Your primary responsibility will be creating engaging content across multiple platforms, assisting with campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and analysing performance metrics.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Create basic graphic design elements using tools like Canva and Adobe Suite
- Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitor strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
- Assist in organising promotional events and campaigns.

**Requirements**:

- Desired but not essential: degree/certificate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or relevant experience).
- Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or marketing.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A passion for marketing, creativity, and brand storytelling.
