The University now seeks to appoint a receptionist

The role of receptionist is part of the university’s Support Enquires Team; which is part of wider Student Support Services. The Student Enquiry Team acts as a One Stop Shop and as the first point of contact for students, applicants and university visitors; answering queries and providing information and advice to a range of stakeholders.

Reporting to the Student Advisory Manager, the role involves providing high quality reception services to a range of university customers. As a first point of contact for the University, the role holder will welcome all visitors, staff, students and other stakeholders at the University’s main reception. Work duties include answering and dealing with a range of general enquiries and providing accurate information in a polite and professional manner. Managing and transferring telephone calls as appropriate and carrying out basic administrative tasks to support the work of the wider Support Enquires Team is also a key part of the role.
