Mitie created its newest division within Mitie Technical Services, Mitie Telecoms, in August 2021 when it acquired DAEL Ventures UK and joined it with their existing Cornerstone Facilities Management group. This has enabled the creation of a complete cell site service provider. Mitie Telecoms are now leading providers of acquisition, design and construction (ADC) services, specialist managed services of temporary mobile infrastructure, and facilities maintenance for telecoms. The teams design, installation and maintenance experience coupled with Mitie's leading technology and scale has created a new force in telecoms and numerous exciting opportunities to be part of a growing organisation.

**Role Overview**

The Head of Programmes takes ownership of client relationships, budgets and costings, ensuring the client receives the optimum service. You will lead Project Managers in the scoping of projects and make sure that projects are running to plan, time and budget and are delivered effectively.

**Key duties and responsibilities**
- Take overall responsibility for the management and co-ordination of projects from start to finish, including the sourcing of expertise and reviewing resource allocations
- Own the project timeline and provide regular status updates and reports to clients and project teams
- Ensuring governance over projects to meet their contractual frameworks
- Oversee project quality throughout the project
- Own budgets and billings for project scopes and ensure client budgets are properly managed
- Work with the finance team to report revenue and provide forecasts, and manage finances with internal team and clients
- Partner with senior and executive team members on new business opportunities, researching client backgrounds, preparing and taking part in pitches
- Identify opportunities for growth within our client's business and take advantage of these to grow our company revenue.
- An expert on our client business and brands and able to ensure the strategic and creative work we do is on brief and on target.
- Ensure what we offer as a company matches the needs of our client.
- Responsible for motivating the project team and driving them to achieve greater client satisfaction.

**What we are looking for**
- A minimum of 10 years comprehensive experience in the Mobile Telecommunications industry managing large rollout projects
- 10+ years experience in supervisory or management capacity with the ability to coordinate, self-motivate and support the team, while working closely with other clients and creative teams
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills; must be able to multi-task, prioritise and be able to keep oversight of projects, track and manage budgets and costings.
- Proven ability to manage medium to large scale projects.
- A strong commercial and financial acumen
- Be a collaborative and pragmatic communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills honed within the industry.
- Ability to build strong relationships, internally and externally

- Willing to learn and pursue relevant qualifications.
- Ability to travel as required with a Full driving licence
