**Role**:
We are delighted to be working with them to recruit a**HR Advisor (office based)**
**Salary**:
Salary depending on experience up to £35,000.
My client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their faced paced growing business.
**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
- Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business
- Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with the current legislation
- Informing employees of their rights and entitlements and keeping them up to date on any changes that are made
- Managing colleague relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations
- Handling HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements
- Supporting the HR Manager and HR Director with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary
- Assisting with and developing on any recruitment campaigns
- Driving the business performance in relation to the organisation’s objectives
- Partnering with line managers to review employee relations, performance management, resourcing and staff management
- Training relevant HR colleagues within the department when and as required.
**HR General**
- Issuing changes to contracts, ensuring they have been signed and returned
- Ensuring all relevant documents have been issued and uploaded to Cascade
- Adding colleagues to Perkbox and deleting leavers
- Preparing probation invitation letters and probation extensions letters
- Ensuring colleagues’ files are up to date and documents filed accordingly
- Regularly updating the inductions and any of material that are issued to new and current employees as per the instruction of department head
- Cross checking job descriptions and creating the relevant specification for new roles alongside HR manager and/or department head
- Issuing information to colleagues regarding any relevant changes i.e. pension auto enrolment, HR law
- Keeping a record of holiday and sick days across the company by making sure relevant line manager submits relevant information into the HR software with supporting material
- Liaising with managers in regard to any training opportunities for all colleagues across the board alongside HR manager and department head
- Holding periodical meetings with managers that will help them fully utilize Cascade; allow to discuss any HR related issues; promote Perkbox
- Issuing pay increase and bonus letters
- Participating in ad-hoc projects
**HR Software**
- To understand the HR software and keep it updated daily
- To be able to take control of the HR system administration. Updating information which is pay roll critical i.e., new starters, leavers, amendment to salary and hours
- Resolving manager’s queries regarding holiday request authorisation routes, adding job titles to the hierarchy etc.
- Resolving colleagues’ queries regarding login details
- Running weekly reports for managers i.e., overtime, sick absence, starters, leavers
**Recruitment**
- Advertising roles within the company using either internal or external resources
- Making sure that a job description is available as well as liaising with Manager regarding hours and salary
- Arranging interviews
- Calling for references to secure the appointment and liaising with line manager
- Checking that they have the relevant qualifications and licenses to do the role
**Employment Law**
- Keeping up to date with any changes in the law which might affect the business i.e., maternity leave; statutory sick absence etc.
- Ensuring there is a clear paper trail for any situations which might be precarious now or in the future and may affect the company by making sure the information in the files is up to date
- Carry out other duties which fall within reasonable expectations of the role
- To adhere to Health and Safety standards according to the company policy for both customers, colleagues and yourself
- Thorough knowledge of manual handling guidelines in day-to-day activities
- To attend work clean, smart and wearing the company uniform, if applicable
- To work within other areas of the Company from time to time when and if necessary
