**Qualifications**
- Applicants must hold a relevant Early Years qualification i.e. Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.

**Experience**
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and parents
- Background in special education or teaching preferred
- Experience tutoring or mentoring children
- Familiarity with working with individuals with autism
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

**Responsibilities**
- To provide high quality play and early learning opportunities through the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities to best meet needs of individual children.
- Providing consistency in facilitating children’s physical, emotional, intellectual and social development and ensuring all relevant records pertaining to children are updated regularly, in partnership with parents.
- To work closely with parents/carers, sharing information about children’s progress and encouraging parent / carer involvement.
- To ensure that Early Years setting is a safe environment for children by complying with all policies, procedures and standards relevant to the setting, ensuring that safety and hygiene standards are high and undertaking risk assessments as agreed by the setting leaders.
- To be able to manage a wide range of children’s behaviour in a way which promotes their welfare and development.
- Provide school leaders with regular feedback regarding parents concerns, requests and observations.
- To contribute to the planning, development and use of imaginative and creative approaches to play/early learning, both indoors and out for all children within the setting.
- Work as part of a team, to create and maintain a purposeful and orderly learning environment
- As directed by the setting leader, develop partnerships with parents/carers and to facilitate meeting individual children’s needs, including welcome meetings and 2 Year Old Checks.
- To work collaboratively and flexibly within the Early Years and Whole School Team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £24,790.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 32.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Work Location: In person
