**About The Role**
We are looking for a Receptionist to work within our **BEAUTIFUL** Hospital in Roehampton, London. The Hospital is an Adult Mental Health hospital for men and women with severe and complex mental health conditions. The hospital has 28 bedrooms split across 4 individual units that all care and support adults who are detained under the Mental Health Act 1983, as well as patients who require detoxification from alcohol or drugs. Our facilities include, Gym and enclosed sports area, Designated art room, Therapy suite, Occupational therapy kitchen, Multi-faith room & Therapy garden.

**In your new role, you will**:

- Assist in the day to day operation of the Front Desk undertaking all duties to the highest professional standard and ensuring every visitors experience is of the highest quality.
- Receive, assist and direct visitors in accessing the appropriate service in a professional courteous, efficient and effective way.
- Provide general assistance to the management team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
- Manage and ensure all incoming calls to a busy switch board are handled to the correct standard and answered within the required time frame
- Maintain security at all times by following correct policies and procedures with regards to all visitors
- Liaise with all departments with regards to visitors and incoming calls
- Order stationary and ensure that correct stock levels are maintained
- Take and manage meeting room bookings, ensuring that rooms are set up on a daily basis
- Ensure motor vehicle booking system runs smoothly
Working Pattern:
37.5 hours per week over a 7 day period,
**About You**
**You will ideally have**:

- A genuine interest in working within a caring environment
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Previous Receptionist experience
- Experience working within the care and support sector (Ideal but not essential)
- Some experience working within a Mental Health setting is desirable
- The ability to build a great rapport and the desire to truly make a difference
