Gorse Hill Studios (GHSCC) is an ambitious youth arts charity that believes all young people have the right to social, emotional, educational, and cultural investment in their future. We support them to build achievable, aspirational pathways for their futures.

**About the Role**:
We are calling out for **SEND experienced Youth Workers and Creative Facilitators** to join our friendly and inclusive team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) through creative and engaging sessions.

We deliver a wide range of projects, including **Arts and Crafts, Sports, Drama, Music, Social Clubs, Nature and Growing, and Play**. Our sessions provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where young people aged 5-26 can socialise, have fun, build confidence, and be themselves.

**About You**:

- Have experience working with young people with SEND.
- Demonstrate **patience and empathy**, essential for supporting young people who may have complex emotional or behavioural needs.
- Be **creative**, able to design and deliver engaging, inclusive activities that suit a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Have strong **communication skills**, both verbal and non-verbal, including active listening and a non-judgmental approach.
- Be **adaptable** and comfortable working in varied and sometimes unpredictable environments.
- Work well in a **team**, communicating support needs and reporting safeguarding issues appropriately.
- Hold a **current DBS** or be willing to obtain one.
- Be open to **ongoing training and development**.
