Mears Housing are looking for an experienced Supervisor to work within our Voids division in your local area.

To succeed in this role you will need to be well versed leading, supervising and controlling the daily contract activity, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

The successful Supervisor will need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to enthuse, motivate and negotiate. Ideally you will have an experience leading a team within the Housing sector alongside having a commitment to continuous service improvement.

Mears are the UK's leading provider of repairs and maintenance services to landlords, local authorities, and registered providers, delivering over 6,000 repairs every day to a portfolio of 1,000,000 homes nationwide.

The successful Supervisor will need to supervise and successfully manage, on a day-to-day basis, the operation and delivery of a Housing Repairs service.

As a supervisor, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding deadlines under pressure as well as delivering on the following objectives:

- Achieve all pre-agreed KPI targets via the effective supervision of operatives and sub-contractors.
- Monitor organise and direct operatives and sub-contractors to ensure all agreed productivity levels are met.
- Build an excellent working relationship with the client and their designated partners.
- Ensure all operatives work in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Carry out pre and post inspections as required to raise accurate works and check quality of works carried out
- Ensure operatives comply with all Health and Safety procedures.
- Manage and monitor all work in progress to ensure effective service delivery is achieved. Address poor performance promptly.
- Report any accidents to Health and Safety Manager immediately.
- Carry out appropriate regular communication meetings with operatives and sub-contractors, such as performance meetings, toolbox talks and one to ones.
- Responsibility to supervise the Out of Hours service, during evenings and weekends, on a rota basis with other managers and supervisors.
