Hours: 6pm-3am Sunday to Thursday (2 x 30 minute breaks) This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join the team of a leading food supplier based in the Watford area. **PURPOSE OF THE ROLE** To be responsible for directing, coordinating, planning and overseeing tasks and operations, involving all night shift pick pack and loading activities. To ensure the legal requirements for customer needs are met. To manage and be responsible for the company's overall night shift order pick function to maximise the process efficiency and productivity. To be the 'gate keeper’ of all the warehouse night operation processes and procedures providing consistent and robustadvice, communicating clearly on requirements to the business, at all levels. **MAIN DUTIES** - Manage, direct and monitor the department and the overall performance of the team (12-13 staff), and shift to increase efficiency and maximise service, performance, value and profit - Responsibility to adhere to budgets and plan to maximise profitability - Develop new initiatives and look for new ways to optimise the warehouse activities - Meet your targets and those of the team - Contribute to training and development of the team and organisation as a whole - Assist in achieving maximum "customer" satisfaction in accordance with organisation plans - Managing and ultimately responsibility for the vehicle loading with the shunter/loader. - Maintaining and completing accurate records - Continuous review and implementing changes to ensure that the company has an effective and efficient warehouse pick, stock movement process, maximising internal resource and minimising cost - Reducing cost and environmental impact - Collaborate with other departments such as Sales and Customer Service to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps - Understanding pinch points and removing any obstacles - Evaluate and report on KPIs - From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role **REQUIREMENTS** - Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Warehouse Team Leader role in a FMCG environment - Health and Safety experience, ideally in an FMCG environment - Forklift Truck licence counterbalance and reach. - Driving Licence Full
