Trainee Estimator

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Estimator to become part of a dedicated and supportive team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in the measurement and quantification of materials for groundworks projects
- Supporting the procurement of materials
- Liaising with subcontractors to obtain quotes
- Visiting project sites to gather necessary information
- Working closely with the Commercial Team, including Quantity Surveyors (QS's), Estimators and Buyer
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, hardworking and driven
- A proactive 'can-do' attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel
- Experience in an office environment is preferred, but not essential

**Must Have**:

- Full driving license

- Ebbw Vale: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
