**Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer**with an electrical and mechanical qualification, experienced in fault diagnosis and repair who is a focused team player is required for a well-established and UK’s leading manufacturers of window blindfabrics and systems based in Hyde, Cheshire, North West England.

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical and mechanical qualification, experienced in fault diagnosis and repair who is a focused team player.

Working as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, in a very hands-on, pro-active role. Completing PPM activities of factory services and supporting new installations of plant and miscellaneous equipment.

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of fault diagnosing, electrical/ mechanical repair and maintenance of machinery including automated assembly cells / injection moulding / hydraulic presses.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will have:

- Electrical and mechanical qualification to at least NVQ level 3 or 4 with electrical 18th edition or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in a factory environment is preferred
- Experience of Siemens PLC and control system (Step 7), AFAG pick and place units, Mitsubishi robots
- A focused team player with a strong character
- Ambition to further improve the department
- Creative with the ability to convey own ideas
