**Salary**: £52,084 - £57,344 dependent on skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Project Management of bids along with the subsequent mobilisation and delivery programmes post contract award
- Identify and develop new business opportunities adjacent to the project/programme
- Financially plan acceptable business & financial objectives for orders, sales, gross margin and cash
- Monitor and report bid and delivery performance objectives
- Establish and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships maintaining regular communications and manage expectations and take responsibility for achieving customer satisfaction
- Proactively manage emerging risks and opportunities to the benefit of the project/programme
- Continuous improvement and tailoring of procedures and guidelines for operation of the project/programme ensuring adherence to the Operational Framework and LCM mandates

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Experience of bids is desirable
- Experience of Project Management of complex capability activities
- Working knowledge and good understanding of the Life Cycle Management Framework
- Understanding of the Financial, Commercial and Procurement processes and practices
- Capable of establishing credibility and influence stakeholders across the business and the customer
- Capable of understanding, progressing and resolving complex project management issues
- Capable of understanding the process and organisational issues associated with capability delivery programmes

**The Typhoon Service Delivery team**:
In support of production and customer operations there are a significant number bid requests being submitted to BAE Systems. This role is critical to ensuring that the bids are successfully developed, submitted awarded and subsequent tasks are mobilised managed and delivered in order to ensure production programmes remain on plan and the customer is furnished with the opportunities to improve aircraft availability. The job holder will be required to work innovatively with the engineering shared services, functional teams and customer communities to ensure compliant bids are generated and delivered in line with our customers’ requirements and in line with the principles laid out within Contract 4.
