**Betterclean Services Exeter **is hiring a team of cleaners to work at a school in Taunton **Hours**:Each role if for a total of 10 hours per week; 2 hours per day on Monday to Friday, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm **Working weeks: 38 weeks per year to match school term-times, plus an optional 2 weeks of deep-cleaning in the summer break. We also set realistic working times to allow our cleaners to operate at a comfortable pace. **Your skills and experience** Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is an advantage, particularly in school environments, but not essential as full training is provided. Previous supervisory experience preferred. You'll need to: - Be reliable and trustworthy, with good attention to detail - Have a positive attitude, and take pride in doing your job well - Genuinely care about delivering to the highest quality for our clients - Be organised and able to effectively lead the cleaning team - Have good communication skills **Cleaner Responsibilities** You’ll be expected to: - Clean all areas to our high standards, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing. - Work safely with required chemicals, and follow a cleaning routine - Monitor your equipment and provide accurate monthly stock takes - Willingly receive regular feedback in a constructive and professional manner - Supply the contact details of at least one previous employer for a reference - Hold or be willing to undergo checks for a DBS certificate - Provide full right to work documentation **If you have the following experience, we're particularly interested in talking to you**: - Housekeeper - School cleaner, janitor, caretaker - Care assistant - Domestic assistant Please check the site location before applying, and ensure that you are able to get to/from the site. **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 10 per week **Salary**: £10.50 per hour **Benefits**: - Company pension - On-site parking - Referral programme - Store discount - Wellness programme Schedule: - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Signing bonus Work Location: One location
