**The Hours**: 37.5 hours per week.
**The Salary**: £29,640pa
**Duration**:12 months fixed term
**This is a role covering both Northern Ireland and Wales, so dependent on your home location we can discuss options for your closest property to become your office and contractual base. There is also opportunity to discuss hybrid working that strikes theright balance for both you and the Trust.**
This role is about coaching, training and advising our kitchen teams to be at their best, serving great food.

What you'll be doing As a Food and Beverage Kitchen Trainer for Wales and Northern Ireland regions, working closely with Area Managers and F&B managers, you’ll be responsible for all direct training - both on the job and in virtual environments. Working with the OperationalTeams you’ll help them to understand their part to play in delivering the food and beverage strategy and motivate them to achieve results.
A role model for best practice, you’ll look to inspire others through your professionalism, expertise, and effective communications. You’ll work with the operational food and beverage teams to upskill them to be the best they can be by improving their commerciality,helping them to develop inspiring local dishes and using the standards and frameworks effectively. You'll also contribute to the creation of training initiatives and tools.
Ultimately this role is about developing people, sharing your passion for great food, delivering long-term success, and bringing a variety of training mythologies to wonderful teams.
Internally this role will be known as Kitchen Trainer.
Who we're looking for You’ll also need to have;
- Experience of training others
- Excellent cooking and kitchen management skills
- Coaching and influencing skills that develop great skills, knowledge and changes in behaviours
- Involvement of delivering high quality, consistent food, in a fast-paced F&B outlet
- Effective communication skills
- Confidence in relationship building
- Strong customer focus
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills
- Full UK Driving License
- A Food Hygiene qualification (minimum level 3)
