Summary We’re looking for a Holidays Operation Assistant Manager to assist the Holidays Manager in the efficient delivery of their Holidays portfolio.

Many of our visitors stay a little longer in one of our 28 holiday cottages. There are a variety of buildings offering very different experiences including Doyden Castle, the quirky Birdcage, idyllic BoscastleElm Cottage and the statuesque Pentire Head Farmhouse.

What you'll be doing You'll deliver high levels of customer service to our guests, dealing with queries in line with agreed NT procedures. Teamwork will be essential, as you'll be working with the wider property team, as well as Contact Centre staff and internalservice delivery is just as important. You will ensure consistent delivery of the operation across the area and achieve high levels of visitor satisfaction.

The role is a mix of desk-based tasks and being out and about at the holiday cottages, travelling in our widespread portfolio and weekend work. Confident with using Microsoft Office and being creative with spreadsheets, you'll keep the team on track withfollowing compliance procedures. You'll be excellent with people. As the first point of contact for Caretakers, your supervisory experience will help you to get the best from the team through training, coaching and development to deliver a consistent offerin line with the NT holidays toolkit. Alongside this you'll be organising rotas in line with bookings, ensuring that changeovers and service cleans are delivered and good stock control is essential, as is efficient purchasing and store management to minimisecosts whilst still providing a good service to caretakers. assist with recruitment and grow the team providing clear induction and training.

You’ll organise staff schedules, hold team meetings and supervise the team giving them plenty of support, coaching and feedback. You’ll be part of our Holidays leadership team. You'll support the handling of any day-to-day maintenance problems and equipmentfailures liaising with staff and contractors. You’ll assist in responding to daily incidents raised by our guests. You'll carry out risk and compliance tasks making sure everyone is safe. You will enjoy taking on ad-hoc tasks helping to maintain the high standardthat North Cornwall Holidays are known for.

You'll work in tandem with the full-time Holidays Operation Assistant Manager and support the Holidays Manager in the delivery of the growing business. You'll also work closely with the wider national Holidays team and rangers to deliver memorable holidays.

Who we're looking for We'd love to hear from you if you have:

- Practical experience in an operational role in a holiday operating environment
- A good understanding of necessary standards of housekeeping, presentation and maintenance
- Some supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures and experience of risk assessments
