Account Handler

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Account Handler** to join**AJ Insurance** (a howden company) at our offices located in **Tilbury**. If you have a background in **Commercial** insurance and enjoy a fast-paced environment, AJ Insurance may be the place for you.

We are looking for an energetic, personable, enthusiastic individual for this role. With the customer at the heart of everything, going the 'extra mile' to deliver a superior customer service will be second nature to you. You will enjoy the challenge ofremoving the complexity, so everything for the customer is made simple from negotiations through to renewals.

**What you will be doing**:

- Assisting in achieving new business targets.
- Liaising effectively with the Account Executive to ensure an appropriate strategy for winning new business.
- Undertaking market exercise to establish most competitive terms.
- Prioritising and handling all work promptly and accurately.
- Handling all queries, whether written or by telephone, in a professional manner.
- Recording all relevant information on Acturis.

**You need to bring with you**:

- Personal lines insurance experience is desirable.
- Prior experience in a similar sales or new business role.
- Excellent client servicing experience.
- Ability to respond to changing requirements of the business and Insurance strategies
