Production Operative 14:45pm-23:00pm

Previous experience is not essential, however we are looking for someone who enjoys a hands on role with an interest in manufacturing, and the different processes used to produce the final product at a high standard.

As a Glass Production Operative, you will primarily assist in the smooth running of day-to-day operations in the glass making process. Dependent on the specific role, operatives may work upon a diverse range of processes including light duties, manual handling, use of machinery and equipment.
**Responsibilities**
- Using various pieces of equipment whilst following Health & Safety guidelines
- Inform management of any issues that may cause a delay in meeting deadlines at the earliest possible opportunity
- Quality check the glass to ensure no damage has occurred during production
- Check the glass against the works order document, label and drawings. Inform management of any ambiguities before starting work
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy, report any Health & Safety matters to management, e.g. obstructions and hazards
**Shift Hours**:
Mids - 14:45pm to 23:00pm
**PAY**: Depending on experience. Starting rate of £13.60 per hour
