**The Role**
Due to significant growth and future work, we’re seeking to recruit Design Management Trainee, you will have a clear plan around your development and our established Management Trainee scheme has continually proven that developing our next generation of future leaders is imperative to our growth plans. By joining the Design Trainee Programme, you’ll engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including design consultant, engineers, quantity surveyors and sub-contractors. Learning to review and analyse information that relates to the sequence of multiple projects, you’ll prioritise cost effectiveness and best working practices, and build experience through a project’s life cycle. Using the knowledge and skills you’ve learnt on the Programme, you’ll ensure the company manages the process of design to reduce risk and maximise return, providing sound design, progress and dashboard information to your line manager. You’ll also review design information, check technical completeness and identify any risks, errors or concerns. Fortem is looking for the right people to join as future leaders to support our ambitious growth plans.

You will need have a genuine passion for Design, how products are made and researching new techniques, be driven and a fantastic communicator with the ability to work within a fast
- paced exciting environment, which is ever-changing to market demands. You will be a natural influencer, one that always challenges the norm to drive through creative solutions and has the commerciality to ensure we are maximizing our business portfolio at all times.
