Labourer (Textiles)

We are now looking to recruit for the following position:
**Labourer (Knotting) - Textiles**

**Night Shift (48 hours per week)**
Monday to Thursday 18:00 - 06:00 (Paid breaks)

**Job Summary**
To provide support and assistant to the weaving department. This is a physically active role involving lots of bending and stretching / working in and around machinery
- Providing support to the knotters on a daily basis
- Cleaning in, around and under the machines
- Checking and selecting the correct products for preparing each job - checking and selecting the correct warps for knotting
- Lifting and moving raw materials and finished products on and off the machines.
- Operating the warp beam storage carousel (full training will be provided).
- Adhering to all health and safety and environmental procedures - responsible for your own safety as well as that of others.
- Working to ISO 9001 & 14001 standards (training provided).
- Ensuring all equipment & the work environment is maintained to a high standard, with good house-keeping.
**Person Specification**
- Previous experience working in a têxtile environment would be an advantage
- Previous experience in a labouring type role would be beneficial
