We are looking for a Stores Officer to manage our fleet, uniform and equipment logistics. This is a hands-on role where everyday is different. You will be a key member of the Shared Services team and will report directly to the stores manager. This position is fully office based to meet the operational demands of the role. Salary for this role will be go up in April in line with the Real Living Wage. **Main Duties and Responsibilities**: - **Fleet Management**: - Regularly inspect and maintain FGH Group vehicles, including arranging repairs, cleaning, and conducting routine checks (oil levels, screen wash, etc.). - Oversee and coordinate vehicle maintenance tasks such as MOTs and services. - Responsible for the insurance of all FGH Group vehicles, ensuring coverage is up to date and policies are managed effectively. - Conduct DVLA checks and record details. - Monitor fuel credit cards usage. - Handle vehicle requests and ensure smooth fleet operations. - **Uniform & Equipment Management**: - Oversee the FGH online store and process uniform orders. - Manage the uniform inbox, addressing queries promptly. - Schedule and coordinate radio equipment repairs. Liaise with suppliers to resolve any supply chain issues and ensure timely delivery of products. - **Event Support**: - Pack and unpack necessary equipment for events and festivals, ensuring all materials are prepared and accounted for. **Requirements**: - Clean, valid UK driving licence. - Aged 25 or older (for insurance purposes). **Necessary Skills**: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Exceptional time management skills. - Highly organised, with great attention to detail. - Able to multi-task. - Proficient in various software tools. **Preferred Skills and Experience**: - Experience in a stores management or logistics role. - Familiarity with Shopify. **_This role may allow for overtime evening and weekend shift work in stewarding or security roles (if licenced) but this role is not compatible with working away at festivals._** **About Us**: **About FGH Security** We were founded in 2003 with the aim of raising the standards in the UK Private Security Industry.
