Acorn by Synergie is currently looking for time-served HGV Fitter to join their client, an established, family-run, business in Gloucester as a permanent night worker. **Responsibilities**: - General maintenance of any vehicle/equipment at any time allocated to you by the Workshop Manager/Supervisor (Waste vehicles) - Attend appropriate training and personal development as required by the Company - To undertake duties within your experience, skill and ability and under the instruction of the Workshop Manager/PM Supervisor - Be fully flexible in your approach with a "Will Do" attitude and at all time work in a safe and efficient manner to timescales - Follow all Group and Site Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and instructions at the site including PPE requirements - Work within company standards and policies, to a high standard and in line with best practice - Comply with your responsibilities as laid down in the Group's Health, Safety & Environment Policy and complete the relevant documentation on a weekly/monthly basis - Follow all instruction and direction from the Workshop Manager/ Supervisor - Ensure all tooling and equipment is fit for use - Report any malfunction, unserviceability of equipment/tools immediately - Report any accident or injury immediately however small - Report any near accident or potential of an accident. **Benefits**: - Workplace Pension Scheme - Life Assurance Scheme - Free on-site Parking - Corporate gym membership discount - Staff discount on skip hire - Progression opportunities - Commitment from employers to continued learning and development - Access to mental health support Contract: Full-time, permanent **Salary**: £17.50 - £18.50 per hour Schedule: 12-hour night shift (5pm - 5am) Applicants to this role must live within easy travelling distance of the site, or will be able to relocate before starting the job, and will need to have all hand tools.
