Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will maintain the 5* standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all areas of The Merchant Hotel.
- handling of linen deliveries daily,
- matching delivery dockets with linen received, Allocation of departmental deliveries
- Ensuring all linen storage areas laundry room are maintained and replenished
- Ensuring flow of clean/dirty linen from bedroom corridors
- Stock control and ability to identify shortages in advance
- Ensuring reject linen procedure is followed

- At least 6 months experience in a similar role
- An understanding of the importance of quality guest service
- Excellent Communication, Presentation and Interpersonal skills

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience working within a 5* environment

The rate of pay is £11.50 per hour starting after successful completion of training passports this increases to £12.00
