Join our festive team at Whitby Distillery

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable team members to help us spread Christmas cheer at the York Christmas Market and other seasonal events this winter.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re looking to earn extra cash in the run-up to Christmas while being part of a lively and welcoming team.

Dates: November 3rd - December 23rd Location: York Christmas Market (plus other local events as needed)

**What qualities do we seek in our team members at Whitby Distillery?**

No prior knowledge of Gin or Spirits is necessary.

We're seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, friendly, and share a passion for Whitby

Distillery and its spirits. Our loyal customer base enjoys engaging in cheerful conversations,
- Positive, enthusiastic team players who love engaging with people
- Reliable, organised, and able to stay calm under pressure
- Confident communicators with great customer service skills
- Smart, presentable, and ready to bring festive cheer
- Physically fit in a bustling market environment
- Previous retail, events or market experience is a bonus
- Driving licence desirable (to help cover different event locations)

- Must be 18 years of age or over.
- Reliable and committed to any given role.
- Have excellent communication skills and lots of enthusiasm
- Smartly presented.
- Physical stamina to be capable of working in a close environment.
- Market/Events/Retail experience

As you'll be handling transactions, including cash and card payments, you should be

attentive, efficient and capable of managing queues during busy periods. Strong

organisational skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure are vital attributes.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: £12.60 per hour
