TT Electronics’ Sheffield facility is conveniently located between the M1 and Sheffield town centre. Awarded as Apprentice Employer of the Year 2019, the site employs 110 employees. Sheffield specialises in sensors, thermocouples, thermometers, transducers, transmitters, flowmeters and controllers. Our modern cell based manufacturing facilities are fully flexible for small and large batch runs, enabling us to provide short lead times even for customized products. The in-house manufacturing and testing is backed up by our own UKAS accredited laboratory for pressure, temperature, flow and electrical parameters. A team of field-based engineers also provide a full calibration, maintenance and repair service throughout Europe.

Roxspur Measurement & Control Ltd (RM&C), based in Sheffield, became part of TT Electronics in July 2014. Our products include sensors, thermocouples, thermometers, transducers, transmitters, flowmeters, and controllers. Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Role Overview and Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Pressure Production Supervisor, key duties and responsibilities will include:

- Assembly of pressure transmitters & PCB assemblies
- Hand soldering assembly work
- Setup & use of thermal and pressure test equipment
- Testing, calibration and inspection
- Analyse & understand of test data
- Reviewing and understanding works processes
- Understand technical documents and quality requirements
- Fault finding
- Meeting strict customer deadlines
- Adherence to good working practices & H&S guidelines

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
- Manufacturing experience
- Soldering skills - training can be given
- Ability to multitask
- Good attendance and team ethic
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work to a high standard of detail
- Good organisational & housekeeping skills
- Confidence to raise suggestions and concerns to team leads and managers

Working Hours and Benefits
- 39 hours a week (7.30-16.30 Mon-Thu; 7:30-12.30 Fridays)
- 25 Annual Holidays in addition to 8 statutory holidays, olidays can be taken hourly.
