ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Public Sector Account Manager, you will be joining our public sector team in the UK. In partnership with a top-performing team, you will be responsible for driving a substantial share of Bytes revenue. You will be responsible for the adoption & managementof Security, Hybrid Datacenter & Cloud Services as well as enable effective and cost-efficient sourcing of hardware & software solutions.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Understand and demonstrate the value we can bring to customers by ensuring they understand the entire proposition
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, as well as expand the portfolio of solutions & services to existing customers for long-term customer growth
- Create and drive sales pipeline and growth
- Ensure profitability while striving to improve the customer’s experience
- Work effectively with bid, pricing, service, and support teams during the tender process
- Establish relationships with our framework partners to ensure a smooth procurement process for our clients
- Manage your own workload to deliver against daily KPIs and metrics
ABOUT YOU:
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- A strong background in solution selling
- A working knowledge of any of these solution areas: Cyber and Network Security, Cloud migration and optimisation services (AWS/Azure), Hybrid Datcenter migrations (storage/Networking), EUC (UC)
- Self-motivating and a desire to learn
- Tenacious, resilient, and hardworking
- Firm understanding of UK Public Sector
- Ability to articulate tender responses
- Understanding of Public Sector Procurement and Frameworks
- Ability to build trust with Customers and improve the Customer experience of Bytes
- Establishing a professional consultative relationship with customers up to and including - C-Level, by developing a core understanding of their unique business needs
- Belief and capacity to learn Bytes’ Subject Matter Expertise to maintain agility in a fast-changing market and drives increasing Customer benefits.
- Build positive relationships with customer contacts, vendors,Partners and the Bytes team.
- Active listening and confidence in articulating complex solutions to Senior IT and Procurement contacts
