Multi Trader/ Wetroom/ Bathroom Fitter

We are looking for a highly motivated individual multi-trader to join our team in completing disabled-level access showers ( wetrooms) and walk-in showers/ bathrooms with baths.

**Typical roles for completing a wetroom**:

- Strip out an existing shower/bath with existing washbasin and W/C, any bathroom fitments, floor coverings, boxing, wallpaper, tiles, etc. Isolate water supply.
- Remove all bathroom skirting and make good isolated areas where skirting was removed.
- For the first floor, install a true level tuff former on the timber joists, all reinforced with extra timber where required along with 5.5mm plywood to lay on top, connecting to a gravity waste( drainage system) if possible or else connecting to an m11 digital water waste pump. Plywood all of the bathroom but the tuff former with 5.5m plywood to create a true level access shower, all prepared for the vinyl floor
- For the ground floor, excavate a minimum of 20mm depth of concrete to suit tuff form, to connect a gravity waste or a tuff form pump waste and connect to drainage or m11 digital water waste pump, lay on the ground so is solid. Latex floor with floor leveling compound to create a true level access shower area, all prepared for the vinyl floor.
- Create a water supply of a cold water feed to one wall of the wet area in the wall, ready for an electric shower installation at a height of 1200 mm above floor level.
- Make good plasterwork in the wet area if required, ready for tiling.
- Tile wet area in 400x250mm tiles, aprox. 10 msq
- Tile Splashback around the washbasin area( 2-3 tiles)
- Box in pipework if required using 400x600 timber wood( CLS), board using 12.5mm plasterboard, and tile the box created.
- Grout. Seal the joints.
- Install an approved AKW Medicare Shower to a water supply created on one of the walls, drilled, plugged, and screwed. Install a shower kit at a suitable height.
- Install bi-fold approved AKW 750 high screen set with a set of latches and handles to each of the walls along with curtain rails. supplied with 2 curtains.
- Install a micro washbasin, wall hung, connect to existing pipework, or create a new water supply, both hot and cold water supplies along with a new drainage 32mm waste pipe.
- Install a raised height/low-level W/C, connected to the existing water supply and drainage, or create a new cold water supply with a new 100mm drainage waste pipe.
- Lay polysafe hydro vinyl flooring cap and cove onto the prepared bathroom( optional extra )
- Install 2 grab bar rails to suit the client onto the wet area.
- Complete the wetroom from start to finish.

**Experience in plumbing, tiling, carpentry, and general construction is mandatory.**

**However, a lot of support will be provided to make sure new members adapt to the work environment and ensure a good standard of the work.**

**We supply all of the Medicare equipment to the site, ready to install. All of the building materials are supplied by the local building supplies where we hold credit accounts
- all available to buy and use.**

**We work closely with electricians and floor layers to ensure good KPI's within our business.**
