**Intensive Support Worker**

**Location**:Newton Mearns
**Hours**:Full-time, 24 hours per week - various shifts available including nights and weekends
**Salary**:£12.21 - £14.51 per hour (depending on service and shift pattern)
**Driving Licence**:Manual UK licence and access to your own vehicle **essential**

**About the Role**

We are looking for caring and dedicated **Intensive Support Workers** to join our expanding, award-winning, Employee-Owned organisation in Newton Mearns.

As an Intensive Support Worker, you will support individuals with complex health and behavioural needs, including those who are ventilated or living with long-term conditions. This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in someone’s life, helping them to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.

**What You'll Do**
- Provide intensive support to individuals in their homes, ensuring person-centred care
- Assist with clinical and healthcare needs, monitoring mental and physical health as per care plans
- Deliver personal care and support as needed
- Follow outcome-focused support plans, collaborating with internal teams, health professionals, and families
- Undertake specialist training to meet the competency requirements set out by health partners

**What You'll Need**
- A Manual UK Driving Licence and access to your own car
- Flexibility to work various shift patterns including days, evenings, weekends, and nights
- A compassionate, thoughtful, and enthusiastic approach
- Willingness to undertake specialist training and ongoing development
