Job Introduction
Are you looking to be part of an exciting new kitchen start-up in central Hertford? We’re looking for people to join us on a journey where fresh great-tasting food comes first.
This role would suit someone looking to start their kitchen career, or an experienced kitchen assistant looking to be part of our incredible venue
- BEAM.
**What will you be doing?**
- Assist the Kitchen Manager and team with basic food preparation (e.g., washing, peeling, chopping)
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support with plating and serving food as needed, and to agreed specifications.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, completing due diligence as required.
**About you**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
