Pure are currently working with an established national organisation who are looking to recruit a Logistics Co-ordinator for their Ipswich Branch.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating the scheduling and assigning of reactive service calls, installations, deliveries, and preventative maintenance jobs including 3rd party engineers where necessary. Ensuring manifests for next day are ready for the Warehouse at the end of theday ( when covering Local if this isn’t dedicated area)
- Management of Follow-On-Visits to ensure visits are promptly assigned Work with the Technical Helpdesk team to ensure resolution to outstanding issues, as needed
- Ensuring Customer SLAs are achieved ahead of time. Closely monitor the dashboard, to ensure Engineers are on schedule.
- Coordinate delivery notes / Install paperwork, checking back in procedure to ensure deliveries and jobs have been completed as required and Installation training notes completed and returned. All missing notes to be in on same day
- Manage engineers’ time commitment through the day and communicating ahead of time to customers in cases of delay or if capacity for further work schedule in to ensure maximum efficiency from the day.
- Manage engineers start time and activity, so they leave on time at the start of the day and have planned activity if they arrive back / finishing early. Recording start times from Quartix (Trackers) onto their smart time sheets and highlighting any anomalies
- Ensure clear communication to engineers including accurate notes on jobs and communicating clearly as to difficult call cases or specific instructions.
- Tracking of machines to site or hub. Taking ownership of ensuring your deliveries have arrived on time, are where they should be and ready for the engineer’s arrival and they know where to go.
- Attend, where needed the pre installation meetings of key installs to ensure smooth installation and any actions implemented before the install date
- Review of site surveys ahead of installation to ensure smooth and complete installation experience for the engineer and customer.
- Hotel bookings for overnight stays. Liaise with Operations Assistant to ensure booked a needed and record.
- End-Of-Day-Ring-Round; ensuring Customer informed of late deliveries if drivers/engineers have been delayed and ensuring that necessary action is taken to minimise delays. Then ensuring all EOD calls prioritised the next day.
- Coordinating and taking ownership of logistics queries from engineers including rescheduling routes in the event of unplanned absences
- Management of Logistics inbox to ensure timely response to requests, as per regions. Support other logistics coordinators as required
- System Housekeeping - ensure all engineers and operators clear their calls as they go and old jobs no longer required are cleared off system.

**Key Skills**:

- Experience of managing a team
- Understanding of locations and road networks
- Experience in route planning and scheduling
- Clear and professional communication techniques
- Strong personal organisation skills for example inbox and task management
