**Job Title: Experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)**

**Location**: Cardiff

**Contract**: Full-time, Part-time, long term or adhoc positions available.

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead small group sessions and interventions tailored to the specific needs of students across different year groups.
- Utilize your expertise to deliver high-quality Physical and Social Education (PSE) sessions, promoting healthy lifestyles and personal development.
- Lead Physical Education (PE) lessons, ensuring they are inclusive, fun, and aligned with the national curriculum.
- Provide cover for teacher's PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time, delivering pre-planned activities and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the overall assessment process.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and experience working across years 1-6.
- Ability to work independently and confidently lead sessions with groups of children.
- Experience delivering Physical Education (PE) and promoting Physical and Social Education (PSE).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Relevant qualifications and/or training in education or child development (e.g., HLTA qualification, Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
