You’ll plan menus around individual tastes and dietary needs, use fresh ingredients, and create a welcoming atmosphere where mealtimes are something to look forward to. **What the role involves** - Planning and preparing meals that reflect individual preferences and nutritional requirements - Using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create balanced, enjoyable dishes - Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and maintaining kitchen standards - Leading and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service - Encouraging residents to take part in food-related activities that make mealtimes special **What you will bring** You’ll bring catering experience, a Food Handling Certificate and a real passion for cooking with care. You’ll have good organisational skills, an eye for detail and an understanding of food hygiene and Health & Safety requirements. Basic computer skills are useful, and you’ll need to be a member of the PVG scheme or willing to join.
