We are looking to recruit a HGV Collections Driver Supervisor for our afternoon shift, to work within our team at Brighton and Hove City Council and would love to hear from you.

Job Introduction
HGV Drivers needed to drive Waste Collection vehicles for Brighton & Hove City council. This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team at Environmental Services to ensure our communities receive a great service so that we can make a real difference in our cityYou will:

- be responsible for leading and supervising a small team of Operatives ensuring they complete their tasks and health and safety regulations are adhered to when undertaking the collection of refuse and recycling.
- undertake daily vehicle inspections and providing customer focused service to complete the removal of household, recycling and other designated waste from a variety of locations.
- maintain respectful working relationships and communicate with politeness and courtesy with both colleagues and members of the public.
- ensure all relevant council policies, procedures, values and behaviours are understood and followed.
- We have one vacancy for the AM shift and one vacancy on the PM shift

**Requirements**:

- an HGV C CATEGORY Drivers Licence
- a valid CPC card
- Management/supervising or relevant experience

Total Salary: £** - plus market supplements plus the opportunity to work overtime and Bank holidays for RSG enhancements.

Salary banded scale 6: £31067 - £32654 (for working 37 hours a week) plus hour overtime: £**-£** (for working an extra 4 hours a week on top of basics)

AM salary
