Baker and Barista

We are a busy and friendly cafe in beautiful park.

We pride ourselves on serving excellent coffee and delicious baked goods, and we're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team. We're a small team, so we value collaboration and a positive attitude.

About the Role:
If you're a whiz with an espresso machine and love the smell of freshly baked treats, this could be your dream job We need a talented Barista & Baking Wizard (a combined Barista & Baker) who can create both beautiful latte art and mouthwatering baked goods.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing and serving a range of coffee drinks quickly and efficiently.
- Creating attractive latte art and ensuring high-quality presentation of drinks.
- Baking a range of items, including our signature scones and brownies.
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Handling transactions accurately.
- Managing stock levels.
- Working effectively as part of our team.

Qualifications:

- Proven Barista experience is essential. You must be able to work quickly and create visually appealing coffee drinks.
- Baking skills are also essential, particularly with scones and brownies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have common sense and a proactive approach. This really is crucial.
- Must be flexible and available to work across the whole week, including weekends and weekdays.
- Food Safety/Hygiene certification (desirable, but we can assist with training).

Pay: £12 - £13 per hour
