If you have experience in finance within a professional services environment, would you like to develop a specialism in Legal Cashiering work?
Our client who have state of the art offices across the largest cities in the UK are looking to expand their finance function in Birmingham, the organisation are moving forward with Hybrid working so there would only be the need to be in the office 1/2 daysin the week.
**Your new role**
- This role offers a lot of variety across the finance function
- Processing payments
- Allocating funds received to client's ledgers
- processing transfers between client and office accounts
- issuing cheques
- Liaising with fee earners and resolving queries raised by clients and staff
- daily bank reconciliations
- recording all other accounts transactions including checking requests
- monitoring client money balances, transactions and controls, ensuring compliance
- raising issues and possible breaches with matter fee earners
- identifying and delivering continuous improvements with processes surrounding client money management whilst adhering to controls and processes.

**What you'll need**
- 12months+ experience in a legal finance or professional services organisation
- Excellent attention to detail
- strong commercial focus and business acumen
- experience of working to targets and tight deadlines
- Analytical and high degree of accuracy is imperative
