Deerfoot IT Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and skilled SAP Technical Architect to join our client's welcoming and inclusive team. This full-time Technical Architect role can be based in Telford, Southend, Worthing, London, Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle,with some travel to the client site when required. This position offers a generous salary of £80,000-£110,000 and an excellent benefits package.

As a SAP Technical Architect, you will have responsibility for the ownership of the technical solution design through the delivery phases. You will also be responsible for working through the technical challenges and decisions in partnership with the functionalleads and project and engagement management communities to deliver the solution into live operation safely.

In your first few weeks in this SAP Technical Architect role, you can expect to:

- Take ownership of the client requirements, deliverables and accountabilities to ensure adherence to architecture governance processes, industry and SAP solution best practices and to maintain consistency with clients' architecture vision
- Successfully manage the agreed technical scope during the project and take ownership of architectural solutions and non-functional requirements based on the client's requirements
- Produce clear architectural artefacts, including landscape designs, system sizing and a well-managed RAID log
- Provide solution design in a highly integrated, API-guided estate with both principal and legacy components at high volumes

To succeed, you should have experience with a wide range of SAP and non-SAP technologies, including key SAP products, SAP Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings, partner products to SAP, public and private cloud solutions, best practices and general waysof working. You will also require the following:

- A deep understanding of high-volume architectural and technical SAP solutions (including ECC, Portal and PI)
- High level of understanding of non-functional requirements and clarity in mitigating their impact on SAP solutions
- Able to set direction and technical scope, build and guide teams of technical individuals, and manage their technical deliverables
- Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills
